Ollerton maintained their winning start to the season in dramatic fashion, with fly-half Scott Gretton coolly slotting a last-minute penalty to secure a 28-26 victory. The game began with Ollerton on the front foot, as in-form winger Jonny Brannan crossed the try line twice in the first half, extending his impressive tally to 13 tries this season.
Man of the Match and scrum-half Jack Cranmer dazzled with a brilliant solo try, capitalising on Ollerton's dominant scrum. The fourth try came courtesy of lock Lee Dentith, who powered over the line with an unstoppable drive.
Despite the early dominance, Sleaford showed great resilience, fighting their way back into the contest and demonstrating why they had been unbeaten before this fixture. However, Ollerton’s grit and determination saw them edge it in the final seconds.
